Honors Night of the Millennium was held on November 2, 2000. Those honored for completing
a record book were:

The 1999 - 2000 officers lead the ceremony where
Randi Stout presided over the evening. Travis Palmer talked on "The Importance of
4-H" and then closed with a presentation to Randi Stout for all or her hard work on
the District level. We are very proud of her.
Weston Lovell spoke on the importance of our 4-H friends and then
presented the 2000 Friend of 4-H award to Roy Perryman - Oklahoma Farmers Union.
4-H members also honored Carolyn Hall who has retired from the
Extension Office. The nights entertainment was the Share-the-Fun individual winners.
Outstanding Jr. and Sr. Awards were presented to the top 2
winners of each age group. Oklahoma's Home and Community Education presented 2 jackets to
Tabitha Thornton and Calli Reasnor, and Van Byers and Dr. Woodson sponsored 2 jackets for
the Sr. winners Weston Lovell and Jacob Oliver.
Also a special Teen Leaders Council was chosen to work hand in
hand with the County Officers. Each of the follow were recognized at the Honors Night:

The 4-H Honors night was a huge success and I'd like
to encourage all 4-Hers to remain active in everything that they do, it definitely shows
off.
Representatives from Pittsburgh County were also on hand to share in the
festivities.
